What in the world is WorldCrafts?
Worldcrafts is a nonprofit ministry of wMu which import handcrafts from 27 areas of the world and markets them in the US. The business helps missions personnel cross cultural boundaries as they establish relationships with the local communities and people groups. Money the craftspeople earn is used in providing basic essentials such as food, education, and medicine for their families. Some crafts are made in very small villages where the money earned goes toward creating a better living environment for the whole village. It provides a way for women to earn a living without resorting to prostitution and for the handicapped to support their families. Your church or group can sponsor a Worldcrafts Party to support this ministry.
